It's a testament to the band's skill that they can repeat the eclectic genre leaping feats of their excellent last lp 'I am not afraid of you...' without mimicking it. Not that this isn't classic Yo La Tengo, incorporating Beatles worthy pop-psych (Periodically Double or Triple), infectious garage-rock (Nothing to Hide), brass-laced AM radio soft rock (If It's True) AND fifteen minute krautrock instrumentals. Need we say more?
