Second instalment of soul and funk on heavy vinyl.... This is so good... every tune you could want from the classic soul funk that graced some great and groundbreaking black action films from the 1970's. Even if you already have Isaac Hayes unbeatable 'Shaft', Roy Ayers 'Coffy is the colour' and have been Across 110th Street with Bobby Womack there's sure to be some choice items you don't know - I admit to being unfamiliar with Nat Dove and the Devils' 'Zombie March for one. All the liner notes from the cd booklet included. Absolutely classic and essential for anybody with ears.

Comes in two separate double vinyl packages - this one is tracks 1-16 from the cd version including the more well known tracks. listing will be added here when I've got a minute... Another fantastic compilation from the Honest Jons people, this one as the subtitle suggests focusing on the influence of latin rhythms and styles on the dance music of Africa. Some rare classic groovy tunes from the 50's to the 70's from the likes of Orchestre OK Jazz and a swinging title track featuring Manu Dibango.
