Gwenno - Tresor

Former singer of The Pipettes,  Gwenno is carving out somewhat of an esoteric career for herself. Her first album was sung in her native Welsh, whilst her second saw her singing in Cornish. Her third album ‘Tresor’, which translates as ‘Treasure’ sees her sticking with the Cornish vernacular. Inspiration for this album of gorgeous, dreamy pop comes from writers and painters such as Ithell Colquhoun, Phoebe Proctor, Maya Deren and Monica Sjöö.
