Osees - Abomination Revealed At Last

San Francisco noise-punk outliers Osees return with Abomination, their latest full-length and a feral 12-track blast aimed squarely at a collapsing modern world. Frontman John Dwyer, and longtime collaborators Tom Dolas, Tim Hellman and Dan Rincon, funnel rage and dismay: a sonic barrage forged from distortion, paranoia and teeth-bared defiance. Recorded with Enrique Tena Padilla, Mario Ramirez and Dwyer himself, then mixed by Padilla and Dwyer, Abomination doesn't offer comfort, but lunges large into the chaos of genocide, surveillance, ecological collapse and rising fascism, eyes wide open. The band's fury is sharpened by JJ Golden's mastering job, making every convulsion land like a blow to the gut.
