I guess around the time of their second album Fading Trails we had no idea that there wouldn't be too many further Jason Molina and Magnolia Electric Co records to enjoy. The singer passed in 2013 leaving a sprawling back catalogue behind him under a shower of different names. This one further explores the rockier and more blues orientated sound the group began to explore but contains Molina's usual sad-eyed song craft and bewitching tenor voice.
