All hail the return of Beth Gibbons, following up on her first solo album no less than 21 years later. The Portishead singer has been patient in bestowing her gifts upon us, but each time we've been rewarded with a rare and singular music. Lives Outgrown promises to uphold the brilliance of her previous work, with intrigue sparked by the lilting, gently psychedelic lead single 'Floating On A Moment'. It's folky, gnarly and unabashedly beautiful, with her voice sounding utterly un-dulled by time.
