Cat Power - Sun
Sun was the 2012 album from Chan Marshall (aka Cat Power). After the lush soul and blues influenced The Greatest, it saw Marshall retreat to the home studio playing all the instruments herself. It features some quite daring electronic textures amongst her usual balladry and there's a guest spot from Iggy Pop. Certainly one of her most uplifting and bold albums.
