Despite having a name that suggests that he's Sheffield Wednesday's back up striker, Joe Henderson was a noted tenor saxophonist who, here on his fourth album for Blue Note, made his first quartet album. With a line up including McCoy Tyner, Bob Cranshaw and Elvin Jones, the foursome deliver a mix of Henderson originals and tracks by the likes of Duke Pearson and Cole Porter.
