Mary Lattimore - Goodbye Hotel Arkada

During a visit to the island of Hvar, Croatia, a friend of Mary Lattimore told her to say goodbye to the charmingly shabby, soon to be drastically renovated Hotel Arkada, as ‘it might not be here when you get back’. Using the well-worn, well-loved hotel as a metaphor for all ephemeral, overlooked pleasures on Earth, Lattimore’s fifth solo LP ‘Goodbye, Hotel Arkada’ pushes her exquisite harp compositions into longer, more complex shapes, and features a range of guest appearances, from Rachel Goswell (Slowdive) to Lol Tolhurst (The Cure) to Roy Montgomery.
