Orchestra Baobab are an iconic Sengalese dance band who, in 2020, celebrate their 50th anniversary. To celebrate, World Circuit are reissuing the band’s 2002 album Specialist In All Styles. The album takes in afro and latin influences underpinned by a rhythm section that really cooks, the astonishing guitar playing of Barthélemy Attisso and the brilliant saxophonist Issa Cissokho. Ibrahim Ferrer (Buena Vista Social Club) and Youssou N’Dour makes guest appearances.
