Alongside a remastered version of the record, there’s alternative mixes from Bob Blank originally released in limited quantities for a 1978 concert from the Arkestra. Emerging from completely improvised jams, ‘Lanquidity’ was a fusion-inspired record that felt like an outlier in the Arkestra’s output at the time, but now stands as one of their most enduring albums.
